A Better Bistro

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  The Wallace is back from its break.  We missed you guys!!!!
NEW DINNER MENU!!!!

We have an updated menu at The Wallace - full of new exciting things to make dining at The Wallace a little lighter on the wallet but just as delicious!

1. A bigger & BETTER Happy Hour!  Everyday from 5-8pm we have:
$1 oysters
$7 cocktails (The Wallace, Gimlet, Brooklyn Sparkler) &
$5 glasses of wine - Pinot Noir, Sauvingnn Blanc.

2. An $18, 2-course prix fixe!  What?! Yes, it's true!
1st course - Aruglala salad with pecorino romano cheese - beautifully simple + yet satisfying,
wedge salad (blue cheese dressing + bacon - need i say more?), or our housemade flatbreads with housemade ricotta cheese + marinated radicchio add the runny egg and you have perfection!

2nd course - The Wallace burger (house-ground beef, homemade roll, your choice of cheese) and fries or a salad! Jon HAND CUTS the fries, they are so golden and delicious - sometimes I wonder how they make it out of the kitchen and onto your table!  If you ever can't find me - I'll be in the basement eating your fries.  Mussels + Fries - with decadent beer, shallot, and garlic broth, and again, the FRIES or
Pan Roasted Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes.

3. NEW ITEMS!


Chicken liver pate with housemade grapefruit jam, served with toasted baquette.  The chicken liver is decadent, yet light, a perfect happy hour snack.

Pork Belly with spicy apple chutney, salad

Grilled Pear Salad with goat cheese, brussles sprout leaves, pomagranite seeds, pecans, and frisee.

4. Never fear - we still have our classics - braised oxtails with polenta and crispy garlic, duck breast with housemade demi glace and brussles sprouts & potatoes, market fish with potato gratin + saffron burre blanc, scallops with fig gastrique and melted leeks,  butternut squash risotto, mushroom croquette with truffle oil, oysters oreganata with housemade aoili.

NEW BRUNCH MENU!
 4. BRUNCH!  Buy one - get one mimosa's and bloody mary's EVERY SUNDAY from 10am-4pm.  We make our own (SPICY) Bloody Mary mix and fresh squeeze our organge juice.  All brunch comes with coffee and tea.

NEW ADDITIONS:
Shrimp & Grits - our famous cheezy grits now come with Benton's ham, anahiem chilies and shrimp! YUM!

The Wallce BLT - Bacon, lettuce, housemade tomato jam, aoili, your choice salad or fries.
 
5. Kids - we have menu items for the little tikes too - grilled cheese with fries or a hot dog with fries.  

Our bar is always open - come join us for a glass of wine and a snack at Happy Hour!
