The Barclay's Center is Opening Tonight!

If you live in the 5 boros, unless you live under a rock (but really even then too) you should be aware that the Barclay's Center is opening tonight!!! YAY!  So excited for Jay-Z to be around - and even more exicted for a glimpse of Beyonce and Baby Ivy!  As a child of the 90s, Destiney's Child holds a special place in my heart.

Anyway, you are not here to read about my love of Beyonce! The Wallace just finished its week #2, YAY! The reception has been great and we are so glad that everyone really seems to be enjoying what we are doing.  It was a little slower then we would have ideally liked, but steady and I really can't ask for more than that -- well, yes I can... if you haven't come down, and are thinking about it  -- now is a great time!!!  If you want to check out the Barclay's Center and need a meal somewhere close, we open for dinner at 5pm and seat people for dinner all the way until 11:30pm (Fri/Sat).

We have a few specials working now: an entree special - Panko Crusted Eggplant, stuffed with house made ricotta cheese and served with a carrot sage sauce and an arugula salad.  For dessert, we have a double layer chocolate cake with vanilla marscapone and raspberry sauce.

For you oenophiles, I feature one wine from our All-American wine list a day, check it out on our FB and Twitter.

This weekend is the Clinton Hill Arts Blockparty, from 12pm-6pm on Clinton Ave between Atlantic and Fulton Street.  We will be open for brunch! So stop by the block party and come over for some home made english muffins, house made sausage, and house cured salmon, plus lots of other yummy things!

Oysters Oreganata
Also on the horizon - $1 oysters everyday from 5-8pm.  We are getting our raw bar up and running - more details on that soon.  Also - I have gotten wind of a steak special for the weekend - details on that will be on our FB page.

All is well at The Wallace and we hope to see you soon!  Really soon!
